Add card note/memo and travel note in the Silverlake using JX API

What are you trying to build?

We are trying to determine how to store supplemental card-related information in SilverLake CORE through JXchange APIs when the card processor is not CPS. Specifically, we need to:

1. Add travel notes/remarks for informational purposes on card records.

2. Add card notes or memos to store supplemental information such as travel notes or reasons for card limit overrides.

We are investigating whether this functionality is supported and which API method should be used.

What did you try?

Tried adding a travel remark in EFTCardMod for non CPS processor and got 9070 error. Would like to know for non CPS processor, can travel be added as informational purposes?

Also, what API to use to add a card note/memo?

There is a note at the top of the Developer Resource page on jackhenry.dev that states

Operational Note

For this API to function in an Financial Institution’s (FI) environment(s), the FI must be a subscriber to the Jack Henry Card Processing Service (CPS). If CPS is not configured in the FI’s environment, this API will return an error message stating there is not a message configured or access is denied.

Hi JH team, when we use this API, we don’t get any error for reporting a card hot/warm, even though the FI is not using the CPS processor. So which API should we use to add a travel note if it’s not EFTCardMod? And is there any guidance on which API to use for adding a supplemental card note?
